FCC Magyarország Környezetvédelem és Hulladékgazdálkodás Kft.

2025 Superbrands awards in Magyarország have taken place, where our CEO received the Business Superbrands 2025 award! Thanks to all our colleagues who made it possible for us to win this years award.

The tenth year of the branding event Superbrands Branding Masterclass was once again directed by experienced experts who are shaping the Slovak branding and marketing world. 🎯
We thank everyone who was at Radisson Blu Carlton Bratislava and shared with us valuable experience, long-term know-how and emotions present in creating top campaigns, analysis and management of top brands.
A big applause and many curious questions from the audience were earned by our speakers:
Milan Milananky (SCR ® design) - No one cares about your brand purpose
Richard oermák (Think Big Collective) - Which brands win the fight for the attention of Slovaks?
Michal Novota (Restartup) - AI-Powered War Room
Karol Cagáň (Yvents) - eSports as a road to Gen Z
We thank all participants, partners and speakers, and we look forward to the next year full of inspirational ideas. 💡

We’ve done it again!!!

THE Herald, the country’s biggest daily newspaper, has reached a significant milestone after winning the Superbrand of the Year award, again, at the 2025 Superbrands Awards held at the Rainbow Towers in Harare on Friday night.

This recognition highlights the flagship daily’s formidable market position and cements its role as a critical national asset.

Owned by the Zimbabwe Newspapers (1980) Ltd, The Herald emerged top in the Print Media sector, while Star FM, also owned by the same company, was honoured as the leading radio station in the Electronic Media sector for Superbrand 2025.

The high-profile ceremony, themed, “Brand equity as a balance sheet asset”, brought together influential leaders from various industries to celebrate organisations that have cultivated exceptional brand value and earned consumer trust.

Addressing the delegates, Permanent Secretary for Industry and Commerce Dr Thomas Utete Wushe said a strong brand is no longer just a marketing tool, but a tangible balance sheet asset crucial for economic growth.

“Of course, the Zimbabwe brand is a key asset that will be really helpful to us in the markets as we prepare ourselves to go into the African continent,” he said.

The awards solidify Zimpapers’ status as a trusted and influential entity within Zimbabwe’s business landscape.

As the largest integrated media group in the country, Zimpapers’ success serves as a bellwether for the broader commercial prospects of the nation, illustrating the economic value in fostering resilient, high-quality, and credible brands that resonate with the public.

Linking the development of powerful brands to national strategy, Dr Ushe noted that this achievement aligns with the objectives of the National Development Strategy 2.

He congratulated all the winners, adding that their successes reflect the “resilience, innovation and excellence” driving Zimbabwe towards its vision of becoming an upper middle income society by 2030.

The Editor of The Herald, Victoria Ruzvidzo, paid tribute to staff at the publication for their tireless work.

“We are very excited and quite humbled that we have done it again. Indeed this is a result of hard work by all at The Herald,” she said.

“We thank the Marketers Association of Zimbabwe for giving us the platform to shine. We thank our readers, audiences and advertisers for their continued support.

“We treasure you all.

“Indeed, this is a vote of confidence that we do not take for granted, more so at a time we are consolidating our presence in the market through deepening our digital thrust in line with changing global trends.”
